Hand & Feel

A fine diagonal rib gives twill more body and structure than satin. It holds a knotted shape, resists slipping and renders printed artwork with sharp edge definition — the classic base for the folded square scarf and the heritage carré.

Momme (mm) is the silk unit of area weight — higher momme means a heavier, more substantial cloth. It indicates thickness, not quality on its own; the producible range depends on this weave.
