Hand & Feel

A satin-weave face floats most of the warp on the surface, so light travels across it as one long specular highlight. Cool and fluid in the hand, it photographs with the deep, poured sheen buyers associate with luxury silk — the default choice for solid-colour and digital-print scarves.

Momme (mm) is the silk unit of area weight — higher momme means a heavier, more substantial cloth. It indicates thickness, not quality on its own; the producible range depends on this weave.
