Hand & Feel

An open, high-twist weave that reads as a translucent veil — light, airy and semi-sheer, with a faint grainy texture. The lightest silk we run; it floats rather than falls and is the natural choice for long sheer wraps and layering hijabs.

Momme (mm) is the silk unit of area weight — higher momme means a heavier, more substantial cloth. It indicates thickness, not quality on its own; the producible range depends on this weave.
